Shape the future European Student Card Initiative
Help Shape the Future of the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI)
The European Commission has launched a consultation survey to gather input on the future of the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI).
What is ESCI?
The European Student Card Initiative aims to simplify and digitalise student mobility across Europe. It includes key tools such as:
- Erasmus Without Paper – digital exchange of student data between universities
- Erasmus+ App – support for students during mobility
- European Student Card – easier access to services and identification
The goal is to improve mobility, cooperation between institutions, and the overall Erasmus+ experience.
About the Survey
- Deadline: 31 March 2026
- Duration: ~15 minutes
- Who: Erasmus+ Alumni, ESN Volunteers
Your input will directly contribute to shaping the next Erasmus+ Programme (2028–2034).
Why Your Input Matters
The consultation will help identify priorities and improve digital tools supporting mobility. It builds on previous studies, workshops, and stakeholder feedback to ensure ESCI continues to meet real user needs.
What’s Next?
The results will be consolidated and presented at a conference in Brussels on 11 June 2026, outlining future priorities and solutions for ESCI.
